The mystery's gone
So bring back the sun
We'll bury this hate
And build it with love

and im getting irritated. cldnt get to sleep, since ive slept the whole afternoon away earlier.

preparations - almost done. doh, im leaving in 2 days time! cept for packing and the fotos. (oh! i did my ironing for the 1st time! be proud!)

thanks to benny's huge-ass suitcase (and benny for sending it in the middle of the night!), what was squeezed into my pathetic suitcase and my 35-litre deuter bag, only fills up 3/4 of the space in the suitcase! and yes, the weight is gg to hit the baggage limit, but well, i still have my handcarry weight to exploit - so we'll see whether i can squeeze in my router since we are thinking of getting wireless internet over there. hehs.

everyone - please feel free to come bj to visit me! ill put you up! but i guess everyone wld rather shanghai, hk or anywhere exciting, but not bj. blearghs.

as much as i dont really look forward to leaving, im sore that ill be missing out on the local music festival, where local bands would be performing outdoor gigs. even though i dont think i wld know most of the bands, i think i could possibly appreciate the music - since i suppose there are many other genres, including techno, and music, after all, is a form of international language. and the best deal is that this concert is cheap, since it is specially catered to the locals, unlike other music festivals, as proclaimed by that's bj

i was a bit dispirited earlier. i was hoping that the whole thing just get called off, and i need not have to leave after all. many questions popping in my head and uncertainty - something i hope to embrace but yet just cant deal with. oh well, im a worrywart. anyway as much as i love travelling, i thought abt whether i can work in an environment with a total different culture - esp language - think lost in translation. suddenly the whole idea of working in japan becomes v appealing and i started fantasizing about myself working there in the future. and speaking of working in japan - zero has decided to drop the swiss company - didnt like the corporate culture, and now he's keeping his fingers crossed for going japan.

how about working in places with v bold ideas - think germany or india. even though sometimes i think the germans can get pretty crude in their works. anyhow, it'll be an interesting challenge.

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? im watching the live telecast of the match between chelsea and liverpool.
